DUXW Challenge – Day 4

Day 4 of the Daily UX Writing challenge, and it made me a wee bit hungry.

The challenge is as follows:

  • Scenario: A user is in their favorite supermarket. They open the supermarket’s app on their phone to see what’s on sale and are greeted by a promotion.
  • Challenge: Write a promotional home screen for a subscription service that delivers groceries to the user once-a-month for a flat fee.
  • Headline: 45 characters max
  • Body: 175 characters max
  • Button(s): 25 characters max

My thought process

With the headline, I’ve assumed that this service benefits users by giving them time back by allowing them to stay home instead of going grocery shopping.

Similar to Day 2, I’m working from the angle that the users is crunched for time and my message is straight and to the point. I didn’t include the dollar amount for the fee, which may entice the user to click on the button regarding the free trial to see more information.
